About Us
Our transportation assistance was established as Compassionate Hands in 1994 by the Yukon Ministerial Alliance, business leaders, and concerned citizens. We provide an affordable and accessible van for elderly and residents in need.
We assist people in the 73099 zip code area and/or Yukon Public School District. There is no public transportation here in Yukon. Our Care-A-Van service is essential for seniors and residents with disabilities. Transportation is offered for medical appointments, shopping, dialysis, physical therapy & other personal errands as needed. Our van runs Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm.

Care-A-Van
The Care-A Van will transport residents that live in the 73099 zip code area and/or Yukon School District. We provide services to the elderly and the disabled with regards to medical, nutrition, employment, social/recreational, shopping and limited personal needs. The van will take passengers to destinations in surrounding areas (30 mile radius one way).

Hours of Service: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with very little down time.
We are closed during inclement weather along the school district guidelines.

Cost: There is no charge for the services, but if the client CAN afford to donate, we ask for $1 for transportation inside the city limits and $5 for outside the city limits.
